A typical day

WEEK 13

As I mentioned in week 7, I would update some pictures from my backyard project and if you haven’t read about it, here’s my situation: I’ve started to build a greenhouse which will help me to grow vegetables.

I’ve been having some trouble building it alone so I called my friend once so he could help me to place the windows right.

And now back to week 13.
One important thing that I’ve been doing this week is to keep up my connection with all my friends and relatives. I believe that it’s important because if I would just stay for myself, I would just be sad and pissed off at the oil crisis. A TV reporter mentioned that a gas station is no longer taking credit but only cash from people purchasing fuel. The reason of that is probably because people who are broke still needs gas and doesn’t care about their economical situation, they are probably just trying to stay healthy. We must still try to believe in the economy to stay settled up and don’t get affected by the oil, else things can go really wrong. Another oil blog that I can recommend is wwoinc.devote.se I have been following them from the beginning and they are truly good.

Realize it

OIL CRISIS
I don´t know if u have read about this, I don´t even know if you have heard about it yet. But trust me it will hit you, and if your not prepared it will hit hard. You still have the opportunity to make a difference. You still have the opportunity to change lifestyle. I´m not going to tell you have to do this, I will not even tell you TO do it. This is your choise, but believe me, it would be better for you to take stand, it WILL be better to change lifestyle, listen to my words before its tolate. Nowadays it exists two kinds of people, the ones who have realized the crisis and doing everything in their power to avoid the critical hit which will come soon, and then we have the people who totally refuses to believe this. Who are you? Do the right decision.

training on way to work - week 11.

Week 11

Questions to a bus company in sweden. (Enkoping busstation)

How many buses are in use at the moment?
We have about 25 active buses in one day

How much are you dependent on oil right now?
Much, since all our buses run on diesel.

Will you invest more in biofuels?
Yes, we need to do that to have any chance in the future.

Will people start to travel more or less buses when the oil becomes more expensive?
If we get help from the state or in any other way we can reach out to people and give them a little more insight into the problem and therefore start to ride the bus when both we and those who travel are making money on it.

We say that oil prices in the world is increasing sharply in a short time, how would this affect you?We will begin by increasing ticket prices, sharply. If this does not work and petrol prices rising, we will probably not be able to keep the business going.

What happens with bus companies when the oil runs out completely?
If it hasn’t developed any new we will probably go bankrupt.

Oil Demand

Week 10 comic

Week 10, family problem.

Finally my cousin answered the mail i send weeks ago. He is now on way back to Sweden. He have been gone for a few years working in different countries in Europe. Im getting intrested when he talk about his last job, beause there they have the same problem with oil that we have here. He worked on the navy at the iraq war. But because they didn’t have  found some other fuel without oil, they decided to bring back a lot of ships. Me and my cousin agree that it was smart beacuse of the oil crises but it was unlucky for him to lost his job. After a long time it would be fun to see him again!

Week 9 solutions

Week 9

This is the 9th week of the oil crisis and I’ve been having problems with the electricity-supplier for the last days. We are only allowed to use as little electricity as we can so I have bought a few solar cells for a good price which i just managed to install on my roof . It seems to work fine as long as the sun is shown. The way I used to take to my work by car is not possible to drive on nowadays because its winter here so many roads arent clean from snow and the municipality seems to have gasoline problems aswell because it’s their task to get the snow off of the roads. My only option is to walk to work.

week 8 - hard time traveling to work..

Solve problems

As i mentioned before im a hockeyplayer, it means training five days a week and match every weekend. And ofcourse it is a lot of divisions and that means a lot and far-traveling. Even a retard knows that far-traveling with a whole hockeyteam means a lot of unnecessary gasoline usage. The team began to talk and try to come up with ideas to solve this and I suggested to hire and go together in a bus. This easy change to use a bus instead of cars are saving us gasoline for up to six cars every weekend. And when i say far-traveling i mean it, we are talking about a trip of two hundred back and forth.
